GSA Handbook, UofA

2011

This Handbook cover design was selected by Graduate Student Association (GSA) at the University of Alberta as part of competition among graduate students in Spring 2011. The objective of this project was to have the imagery that represents GSA and University of Alberta graduate students in general. The abstract depiction of walkways, windmill, green grass, buildings, hot air balloon, and red door stand for the diversity, environmental awareness, and knowledge that the University of Alberta offers to its graduate students. The reoccurring theme of ladders and staircases symbolizes the multiplicity of pathways that students undertake as part of their learning experience. The top ladder also claims that sky is not a limit to graduate students at the University of Alberta.
